Shipping Charges: A Guide to Create Shipping Rules

Adding and Managing Shipping Rules

Setting up Shipping Rules allows you to apply accurate shipping charges to your products on different sales channels. You can create rules for different sales channels or states, and they can be set as flat rates or a percentage of the order value as needed.

Access the Admin Module (⚙):
Head over to the Admin Module by clicking on the gear (⚙) icon located in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.

Navigate to Shipping Rules:
Once in the Admin Module, select 'Shipping Rules' from the menu.

Create a New Shipping Rule:
Kickstart the process by choosing 'Create New Shipping Rule.'

Enter Rule Details:
Give your Shipping Rule a meaningful name.

Select Rule Type:
Choose between 'Flat Rate' or 'Percentage' based on your shipping criteria.

  • For Flat Rate: Specify the SHIPPING RATE and SERVICE TYPE.
  • For Percentage: Indicate the PERCENTAGE and SERVICE TYPE.

Set Purchase Requirements:
Define Purchase Minimum, Purchase Maximum, and Minimum Items Purchased.

Save Your Rule:
Click 'Save' to store your Shipping Rule configuration.

Associate Sales Channels and States:
Click on the newly created Shipping Rule.

Select Sales Channels and States:
Choose the Sales Channels and specific states you want to associate with your Shipping Rule.

Save Your Associations:
Click 'Save' to finalize and apply the selected Sales Channels and States.
