Creating and Managing Categories
Effortlessly organize and showcase your products on the Inxeption Managed Store by efficiently creating and managing categories. The Managed Store comes with two default pages: a Landing Category and a Catalog Category. However, for your products to appear on your website, they must be added to a specific category. Follow the steps below to manage your categories effectively:
1. Navigating to the Category Section
- Access the Channels page within the Managed Store.
- Choose the relevant Sales Channel.
- Click on the "Category" tab.
2. Creating a New Category
- Press "Add Category."
- Provide a name and description for the category.
- Press "Continue" to proceed.
3. Understanding Category Product Lists
Category Product Lists offer a powerful feature by enabling you to display links to multiple product pages on a single URL. Make the most of this capability to enhance your customers' browsing experience.
4. Adding Products to a Category
- Click on "Browse products."
- Search for the desired product(s) and click on "ADD."
- Close the pop-up and click on "SAVE" to confirm your changes.
