Creating and Managing Categories

Effortlessly organize and showcase your products on the Inxeption Managed Store by efficiently creating and managing categories. The Managed Store comes with two default pages: a Landing Category and a Catalog Category. However, for your products to appear on your website, they must be added to a specific category. Follow the steps below to manage your categories effectively:

1. Navigating to the Category Section

  • Access the Channels page within the Managed Store.
  • Choose the relevant Sales Channel.
  • Click on the "Category" tab.

2. Creating a New Category

  • Press "Add Category."
  • Provide a name and description for the category.
  • Press "Continue" to proceed.

3. Understanding Category Product Lists

Category Product Lists offer a powerful feature by enabling you to display links to multiple product pages on a single URL. Make the most of this capability to enhance your customers' browsing experience.

4. Adding Products to a Category

  • Click on "Browse products."
  • Search for the desired product(s) and click on "ADD."
  • Close the pop-up and click on "SAVE" to confirm your changes.
