How to Connect Pages to Your Website

There are 2 steps to creating a category page for your WordPress website using Inxeption. First, we will create a page for your Product in the Managed Store that holds all the product information you will be showing on your site. The second step is to create the page on WordPress that will hold the code to communicate with our Product.

Creating the corresponding WordPress Page

Log into your WordPress Dashboard and go to Pages


1. Create New Page and title it.

2. Install the Inxeption Product List HTML from the dropdown menu or by using the block editor.

3. Use the code from earlier to set the permalink

The permalink and the code from the Product MUST match exactly.

4. Click Update

5. You may now use this page like any other WordPress page and add it to a menu or other link.

 

 


FAQs and other notes:

Q: I did all this and it is still not working. What is wrong?

 

A: You might need to adjust your permalink structure. Having your link end with a “/” will cause issues in

the plugin communicating with your Product in the Managed Store.

 

Q: Can I still use the option from Inxeption to show a category menu on the Product List Pages and also

have my own categories?

 

A: Yes! But, this will allow people to shop all categories from one page that you may not intend. For

example; if you put a list on Category X page while enabling the drop down support, your customers can

view Category Y on that same page.
