Bill of Lading (BOL)


  1. BOL Number/Tracking Number:
    This is the PRO Number to track the shipment. It’ll be reflected in the Basic Details section of a shipment’s overview tab on your LTL App.



  2. Shipper Information:
    This is the origin location information that you enter when creating the shipment, including the contact information and dock hours. You can also see it on the Origin Details section of a shipment’s overview tab on your LTL app.
  3. Consignee Information: This is the delivery information that you entered when creating the shipment, including the contact information and dock hours. You can also see it on the Destination Details section of a shipment’s overview tab on your LTL app.
  4. Freight charges bill to: This is the 3rd Party billing information for this shipment. This section will always mention either Inxeption or one of our 3rd Party Forwarders. This will never display your or your customer’s billing information.
  5. Carrier Information: This section shows the carrier’s contact information. 
  6. Special Instructions:
    This field shows the special instructions, that can be filled on the field of the same name when creating a quote. 

  7. Pickup notes:
    Any Pickup Accessorial that you selected for this shipment will be shown here. 

  8. Delivery notes:
    Any Delivery Accessorial that you selected for this shipment will be shown here. 

  9. Product Information:
    Here you will see the Commodity and Handling Units information that you entered when creating the shipment. You can also see it on the Commodity and the Handling Unit sections of a shipment’s overview tab on your LTL app.
  10. Hazmat Information: If you created a Hazmat shipment, this section will show the relevant contact information.
  11. Declared value of the property:
    Here you can specify the value of your order in US$ per unit of shipment (pallet, crate, box, etc). This can be filled free-hand once the BOL is printed.

    The space for the carrier's signature at pickup, the shipper's, and the consignee's respectively.
