Manage Work Orders & Access Tax Info in Inxeption - User Guide

Managing Work Orders and Accessing Tax Information

Each order placed within our system generates a corresponding work order, especially vital for products that require production. To access your work orders, simply navigate from your Dashboard to the Orders module. Within the “Orders” tab, you’ll find “Work Orders” listed in the dropdown menu, offering a centralized view of all production-related orders.

Work Orders

In the Work Orders section, you can effortlessly manage and track the progress of these orders. Utilize the search function to find specific orders by order number or product name. Upon selecting a work order, you’re presented with several actionable options:
  • Order Overview: Access detailed information linked to the original order.
  • Production ID Addition: If relevant, input a production ID to streamline tracking.
  • Status Updates: Adjust the work order's status through a comprehensive dropdown menu, and a checkbox marking the production as on schedule or past due.
  • Note Addition: Append any pertinent notes that could assist in the order's production or fulfillment process.

Remember to click “Save” after making any updates to ensure all changes are accurately recorded.

Sales Tax

Gaining insights into the sales tax applied to your orders is straightforward. Accessing tax information can be done in two ways:
  1. Direct Access via Orders: From the dashboard, head to the Orders page. Hover over the triple dots on the right and select "Tax Calculator" for a detailed breakdown.
  2. Tax Information Module: Alternatively, hover over the “Orders” tab and choose “Tax Information” from the dropdown. This module provides a comprehensive overview, including order number, date, status, tax amount, and total order amount.

For added convenience, you have the option to download this data in .csv format for further analysis. Filters are also available to view transactions within specific time frames, either by using the calendar icon for custom dates or selecting from preset ranges.

These features are designed to make the management of work orders seamless and to provide clear visibility into the tax aspects of your sales, ensuring you have all the necessary tools at your fingertips for efficient business operations.
