How to Create Parcel Shipments

Create a Parcel Shipment

  1. Go to the Parcel Shipping App. 

  2. On the Orders for Shipping page, click on Create Parcel Shipment.

  3. Add your Contact by either selecting an Existing one or Creating New Contact When adding a shipping address for a new contact, you can paste the complete address (including city, state, and postal code) in the Shipping Address field and the system will parse the information to the relevant fields.



  4. Add Payment Information

  5. Add Product information. You can add a custom product or add a product that has been already saved.

  6. Select a shipping method from the ones available on your account

    You can select standard and expedited parcel shipping speeds in this section if they're available for your account. For US addresses: - Ground - Next Day Air - 2nd Day Air For Canada addresses: -Standard -Worldwide Expedited

  7. Add your Shipment. 

    • You can use a Shipping Template if a Parcel Shipment or

    • Add your shipment dimensions

    • You can click on the "Add Shipment" button to add more shipments to this order. E very shipment will have its own tracking number and label.
       Add a shipment. Once all of your shipment's information has been added, you'll see a preview of your quoted shipping costs and their breakdown below your buyer's cost in the panel on the right.

    1. If the shipping costs don't appear at first, or if you change shipping information and want a
      new quote, you can click on the Refresh Shipping Costs button. 



  8. Click CREATE
    Create a new parcel shipment.

Keep in mind that currently, Inxeption doesn't offer deliveries to the following locations, as our carriers can't service these deliveries: 

  • PO Boxes, 

  • Army Post Offices (APOs) 

  • Fleet Post Offices (FPOs)

  • Diplomatic Post Offices (DPOs)

Additionally, UPS Standard* to Canada is not available to the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, or the Yukon Territory.

If you don't see the Purchase Order Payment Options be sure to enable the purchase order option on your Sales Channel

If you need a pickup for your parcel shipments You will need to create a Parcel Pickup
