  2. Account - A logical grouping of contacts - most commonly a company.
    Note: Contact does not have to be associated with an account.

Common Tasks

Create New Contacts

  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Press CREATE CONTACT
  3. Choose an Account
  4. Enter the FIRST NAME of the Contact, this is printed on shipping labels
  5. Enter the LAST NAME of the Contact, this is printed on shipping labels
  6. Enter the EMAIL of the Contact, this is printed on shipping labels
  7. Enter the PHONE number of the Contact, this is printed on shipping labels
  8. Enter the SHIPPING ADDRESS of the Contact
  9. Enter the SHIPPING CITY of the Contact
  10. Enter the SHIPPING STATE of the Contact
  11. Enter the SHIPPING POSTAL CODE of the Contact
  12. Enter the SHIPPING COUNTRY of the Contact
  13. Enter the FREIGHT DELIVERY OPTIONS of the Contact which include: Is this a residential address? ; Deliver Inside? ; Is a lift gate required? ; Is access limited? ; Call Before Delivery? ; and Delivery Instructions
  14. Select if the Billing Address is the same as the Shipping Address
  15. Add internal notes

Create New Accounts

  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Hover over CONTACTS and press ACCOUNTS
  3. Press CREATE ACCOUNT
  4. Enter the NAME of the Account, this is printed on shipping labels
  5. Enter the EMAIL of the Account, this is printed on shipping labels
  6. Enter the PHONE number of the Account, this is printed on shipping labels
  7. Enter a TAX EXEMPT ID as an alphanumeric field
  8. Select if the account is tax exempt or not
  9. Enter a CUSTOMER ID as an alphanumeric field
  10. Select if purchase orders are allowed
  11. Enter the SHIPPING ADDRESS of the Account
  12. Enter the SHIPPING CITY of the Account
  13. Enter the SHIPPING STATE of the Account
  14. Enter the SHIPPING POSTAL CODE of the Account
  15. Enter the SHIPPING COUNTRY of the Account
  16. Select if the Billing Address is the same as the Shipping Address
  17. Add internal notes
View orders placed by Contact
  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Press the desired Contact
  3. In the section labeled ORDERS, you can see this contact's orders
View orders placed by Account
  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Hover over CONTACTS and press ACCOUNTS
  3. Press the desired Account

View website traffic history by Contact

  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Press the desired Contact
  3. In the section labeled CUSTOMER ACTIVITY, you can see this contact's website history

Edit shipping address in Contacts
  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Press the desired Contact
  3. Find the applicable address and press the triple dots
  4. Press OPEN
  5. Make the changes
  6. Press CLOSED
Edit shipping address in Accounts
  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Hover over CONTACTS and press ACCOUNTS
  3. Press the desired Account
  4. Find the applicable address and press the triple dots
  5. Press OPEN
  6. Make the changes

Edit billing address in Contacts

  2. Press the desired Contact
  3. Find the applicable address and press the triple dots

  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Hover over CONTACTS and press ACCOUNTS
  3. Press the desired Account
  4. Press ADD ADDRESS under "Billing Address"
  5. Enter the BILLING ADDRESS of the Account
  6. Enter the BILLING CITY of the Account
  7. Enter the BILLING STATE of the Account
  8. Enter the BILLING POSTAL CODE of the Account
  9. Enter the BILLING COUNTRY of the Account

Add contacts to an Account
  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Press the desired Contact
  3. Search for the account and select it
  4. Press SAVE
Add internal notes to Contacts
  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Press the desired Contact
  3. Add internal notes
  4. Press SAVE
Add a Tax Exempt ID to an account
  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Hover over CONTACTS and press ACCOUNTS
  3. Press the desired Account
  4. Add an Alphanumeric field for the TAX EXEMPT ID
  5. Press SAVE
Change Account to Tax Exempt
  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Hover over CONTACTS and press ACCOUNTS
  3. Press the desired Account
  4. Add an Alphanumeric field for the TAX EXEMPT ID
  5. Press the box by TAX EXEMPT
  6. Press SAVE
Add a Customer Id to an Account
  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Hover over CONTACTS and press ACCOUNTS
  3. Press the desired Account
  4. Add an Alphanumeric field for the CUSTOMER ID
  5. Press SAVE

Allow Purchase Orders on an Account

  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Hover over CONTACTS and press ACCOUNTS
  3. Press the desired Account
  4. Press the box by ALLOW PURCHASE ORDERS
  5. Press SAVE

Add notes to an Account
  1. Visit the Contacts Module
  2. Hover over CONTACTS and press ACCOUNTS
  3. Press the desired Account
  4. Add text in the field NOTES
  5. Press SAVE




View Customer-Created Accounts

From your website, your customers can create their own account for use on the Inxeption Platform. They can view the status of their orders. 
  1. Visit the Contact Module
  2. Hover over "Contacts" and select "Accounts"
  3. Here, you can view Accounts created by you and accounts created by customers on your website
