Connect Contacts to Private Sales Channel: Step-by-Step Guide

Adding Contacts to a Private Sales Channel

You can connect contacts only to Private Sales Channels and once the contact's been already created. If you haven't done so yet, refer to our guide on "Creating Contacts in the Inxeption Managed Store" for step-by-step instructions.

Now that the contact is ready, follow these simple steps:

1. Access the Contact Page

  • Navigate to the Contact page within the Managed Store.

2. Open the Desired Contact

  • Locate and open the contact you wish to assign to your Private Channel.

3. Update Channels Field

  • In the "Contact Info" section, find the "Channels" field.
  • Click into this field to either search for the Private Sales Channel or select it from the dropdown list.

4. Save Changes

  • Click on "Save" to update the changes.

Now, your contact is assigned to the desired private channel. Verify this by going to the Channels page, opening the Private Sales Channel, and checking the Contacts tab to ensure the contact is listed.

Additionally, you can send an email invitation to the contact by clicking on "Send Invitation to Buyer." This automated email invites them to access your Private Sales Channel.

Once the contact receives the invitation, they can open the email, create an account, and gain access to your channel. If the contact already has an account, they can use their existing email and password to log in to the Inxeption cart.
